About Kinstory

You start with yourself and add the relatives you know. When a relative joins Kinstory, the two of you connect, and each of you can see the other's tree: the grandparents they recorded, the cousins you never had names for. What they know can be added to your tree in a tap, and yours to theirs.

Nobody's tree is merged into anybody else's. Your cards stay yours to correct; theirs stay theirs. Where both families have recorded the same person, the two cards are linked, and each side can see where the other differs.

Only the people you have connected with can see your tree and your posts. There is no public profile, no advertising and no selling of data. You can export everything, or delete it, at any time. The details are in the Privacy notice.

A relative may have recorded you — or your child — on their tree. If something about you is wrong, or you want it removed, the quickest way is to ask the relative who keeps that card. If that is not possible, write to us at the address below with your name, the relative's name and what you want changed, and we will take it up.
