Delete your account

1. Sign in to Kinstory, in the app or at kinstory.in.
2. Open Settings, then Account.
3. Choose "Delete my account", enter your password, and choose "Permanently delete".

Want a copy first? Settings → Your data gives you everything the account holds as one file.

Your tree, posts, comments, likes, chats, photos and your sign-in in one step. Your messages in group chats go with it; the groups stay for the others. Cards that other families keep for you stay in their trees, no longer linked to any account.

A record of a paid order is kept for as long as the law requires even if the buyer or the recipient deletes their account; it holds no address. The Privacy notice says how long everything else is kept.

Set a new password with Forgot password on the sign-in screen. If you no longer have the email address either, write to us through the form on the About page — you do not need an account — with your name and the email address the account used, and we will take it up.
